Everick headed up the acclaimed home-design shop eb home in Mount Kisco from 2001 to 2008, and in South Norwalk from 2005 to 2008, before founding Everick Brown Design, a full-service interior design firm, in 2008. Lisa joined the firm in 2010, and the two launched their accessories e-commerce website Objects & Accents seven years later.

Design Philosophy:
• Buy what you like and make it work
• Mix and match everything
• Less is more

• Don’t be afraid to express yourself
• Create an experience

• Instagram
• Travel
• Everick’s mother (an artist, entrepreneur, and fashion designer)
• African artifacts
• Asian artifacts
• Books and museums

Hottest Indoor Design Trends:
• Multi-functional living spaces
• Work-from-home spaces
• Separate living spaces partitioned by doors
• Rooms that convert day into night
• Health and wellness features, like home gyms

Top Three Best Design Tips:

1. Surround yourself with things you love.
2. Mix expensive and inexpensive, and old and new.
3. Go for “ahh” vs. “wow.”
