1.) BirbSwap Update: — BirbSwap is focused on low fees, excellent rewards, integrated lottery, and a referral system (A referral system is important for YouTubers, Influencers and any marketers). Our devs are working hard to deliver soon. It is scheduled to be released this month for sure. We no longer want to say exact dates until everything is fully tested for security.
2.) Exchange Listing Updates:
We continue applying for more exchanges. Mecx asked for a securities document. We had one made but they want it to be from a top 20 law firm. This is a document to prove a token is not a security.
We will be researching the best attorney agency to get this document from asap. Any suggestions or recommendations please contact us.
We contacted Gate.io for a status update and they said it can take up to 20 business days. We will continue contacting for status updates every few days. If you have more exchanges you recommend we apply to please contact puffedbirb@birb.com.
3.) WordPress plugin Completed
The plugin itself is completed. We will finish final testing and prepare marketing materials so expect a nice announcement any day. Our plugin uses API keys (Secret key and API key) for security. The only thing missing is making the front end look good. PuffedBirb will be in charge of making the front end look good as the devs working on this are more familiar with backend development. We will get the below pages to look like our Birb style then we will start submitting our Birb payment plugin to the WordPress plugins directory https://wordpress.org/plugins.
Our developers said our Magento2, Shopify, and OpenCart (Also BigCommerce) plugins will be released much faster and easier to release now that the backend is done. They are already working on these plugins.
Below are the pages we will design to look like our Birb style. This is the portal where a user will go to create their API Key and Secret Key. These will be used for all of our payment plugins.
3.) NFT Game update.
We received a lot of feedback on the character samples we showcased in the previous report. Our designer is making many modifications and adding high detailed armor, jewelry, and other detailed items to each character. Our team values your feedback. We also received requests for the characters to closer resemble the main Birb style beak and face. We respect all of your feedback and on the next report, we will have improved character designs (including game layout design).
4.) Rewards portal update.
PuffedBirb is in charge of the front end and is adding final bug fixes. There was some confusion about 251–1000 rewards. Our new portal design will still work to only award the Top 250 holders. This is the way the smart contract is built and only the Top 250 holders can be rewarded. In the future, we do have plans to make a BIRB (token allocation) that will reward other holders from 251–1000 after our swap is completed. However, the Top 250 holders would always get the larger rewards.
This is all separate from BirbSwap. With our upcoming BirbSwap pools any user can participate in the BirbSwap pools and farm.
5.) Gaming League:
Birb will be participating in a Crypto Gaming League by CrypticNexus on September 4 at 1pm EDT/EST.
There are 8 teams total now, all teams will be playing against each other in Rocket League. Rocket League is the game we will be playing against other crypto projects. This is a great way to bring new people into Birb.
We asked recently for Birb community members to let us know if they have experience in playing Rocket League. We will be contacting you shortly. 6.) Charity x Bingus
The Birb team is partnering with Bingus to do a $3,000 donation to help animals in need. The shelter we will be helping (Animal Rescue New Orleans) is in the middle of Hurricane Ida and in desperate need of funds.
Here is an official statement from the shelter:
“We are currently in need of funds for several reasons. We have had damage to all fences, awnings etc. We also have to pay staff to move the animals to a solid brick office building and we have to pay staff to spend the night at the shelter as we have no water or electricity and have to run generators. We are normally volunteer-based but with so many people evacuated and continuing to leave we are in a tough situation. They are saying 21 days before we get power and 5 days to running water.
We are having to care for animals left behind by owners (in one case tethered to a porch) until they can go out on transports.”
As you can see they are in tremendous need of help so we have partnered with Bingus to donate $3000 to help the animals and shelter. When we created the Birb project our main priority was to help animals in need and we are happy to help. More information will be provided soon including the status of the animals.
